Quiz Competition On Consumer Empowerment 

Department of Consumer Affairs (DoCA), Government of India, has been taking various initiatives for the protection and promotion of consumer rights in the country. The  Department is celebrating the week from 14th March, 2022 to 13th April, 2022 as "Consumer Empowerment Week" to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The celebrations coincide with the World Consumer Rights Day, which falls on 15th March.

Department of Consumer Affairs and MyGov (collectively called “organizers”), bring to you a quiz competition on consumer rights and initiatives undertaken by the Department. Make an effort to test your awareness of consumer rights and initiatives undertaken by Department of Consumer Affairs.

Quiz Starting Date : 14 March 2022

Quiz Ending Date: 13 April 2022

Read The Following Instruction Carefully:

➤This is a timed quiz with 10 questions to be answered in 600 seconds

➤These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.

➤Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.

➤In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.

➤You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.

➤The quiz will start as soon as you click the Start Quiz button. Which is given in the post description 

Winners will be given a certificate and prizes as under:

a. First prize (one): Rs 10,000/

b. Second prize (one): Rs 7,000/-

c. Third prize (one): Rs 5,000/-

Terms and Conditions:

1.The competition is open only to citizens of India.

2.The following terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system. 

3.Participants will be required to answer all 10 questions within a span of 10 minutes. You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.

4.Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn

5.Participant must ensure that his / her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since this information will be used by organizers for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID, phone number and Aadhaar number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered. 

6.In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizer's reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition.

7.The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants, refuse entry, or discard entries, if such instances or participation is considered to be detrimental to the competition. Additionally, any entry will be considered void if the information submitted is illegible, incomplete, false, or erroneous.

8.The answers given by the participants may be analyzed by the organizers and made use of as deemed necessary. Participants will not claim any privacy or copyright or any other right over the answers submitted by them.

9.The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates

10.By entering the quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions. 

11.Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.

12.If a winner is not contactable within 3 working days from the date of announcement of result, he / she will forfeit the prize and the next participant as determined by the described process will be contacted and given the prize until sufficient number of winners can be contacted.
