Hello everyone most welcome on my blog . Today in this post I will tell you about a new and interesting science competition. So let's start , Here I am taking about International Science Fest 2021. This is an International Science Competition 2021. This competition is organized by Multiomics . This is the biggest Virtual Science Fest 2021.

There are many events in this fest.

(2) painting (Digital Art) 

(3) Painting Traditional / Handmade

(4) Sketching  

(5) Science Poster

(6) My Robot

(7) My Science Experiment

(8) Photography

(9) Science Fantasy Story Writing

(10) Quiz Competitions

E-Certificate will be provided to all participants and Cash Prize for the winner.

For International Students: Free (Limited Seats Available) 

For Pakistani Students: 

For Non-Multiomics Members: 200 PKT 

For Multiomics Members: 100 PKT (50% off)

Last Date to Register: 20th July 2021

Code of Conduct

1. Mockery (teasing language or behavior) with any member is intolerable.

2. Personal Conversations unrelated to organizational work with any member whether male or female is prohibited.

3. Promotion or Announcement of any other organization or platform without the admin's consent is forbidden.

4. Unnecessary chitchat must always avoided in the groups. 

5. Acknowledgment of the messages sent by the authorities is obligatory.

6. Male participants should not engage in any personal conversation with any of the female participant.

7. For queries, contact the admins of the group and do not hesitate to inform about any kind of misconduct. 

Rules and Regulations For Each Event

👉If you are participating as single then just fill out your details. If you are participating with a team then put their information as well . Kindly provide the following details. This information will be classified and will never be a cause of any inconvenience for our participants. If you Selected anyone of these competitions (Science Model or My Robot or My Experiment) . In that Case if you participated as :

Single: Then just enter your details

Team: Then also enter the details of your teammates .

Science Model Competition

1. Model must be 3D.

2. Participants can make model related to any field of science. (Biology, physics, chemistry etc.)

3. Participants can submit their previous work as well. 

4. For submission participants must make a video while explaining the working of the model. 

5. Video limit will be 1.5 minutes only.

6. Judge’s decision will be considered final.

7. The submission needs to be done on time. Late submissions will not be entertained. 

8. After successful registration for the competition, participants will be added in a WhatsApp group where they can get further information.

9. You can either register yourself or with a team.

Painting Competition Digital Art

1. Participant must register using the official registration form.

2. You can choose any one of the above-mentioned Themes.

3. Artworks must be created with digital media.

4. For Digital Art it must not include handmade or 3D art of any kind.

5. Each file submitted must be in a jpeg format.

6. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges selected by our CEO; all decisions of the judges are final.

7. Your work must be submitted within the time limit.

8. No work will be acceptable after the deadline.

Selected Themes:

Participant can choose one of the below mentioned themes:

1.Artificial Intelligence around us

2.Water Pollution

Painting Competition Traditional / Handmade

1. Participant must register using the official registration form.

2. You can choose any one of the above-mentioned Themes.

3. Make sure your work is signed.

4. Canvas size should be at least larger than 1.5 x 1.5 feet. 

4. Artworks should be created with physical media; Acceptable media would include oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, pencil, pen, etc.

5. Take a good quality shot of your work.

6. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges selected by our CEO; all decisions of the judges are final.

7. Your work must be submitted within the time limit.

8. No work will be acceptable after the deadline.

Selected Themes:

Participant can choose one of the below mentioned themes:

1.Artificial Intelligence around us

2.Water Pollution

 Sketching Competition

1. Participants must choose one category, either portrait or croquis.

2. Competition is open to all 2 and 3 dimensional artists.

3. Your art must be your own.

4. Chart of minimum A4 size can be used.

5. Your art should not contain threatening, offensive, or abusive material.

6. All sample that will be submitted must contain Multiomics logo on top left corner.

7.  One person must submit only one piece of art.

8. Art piece does not contain colors.

9. The judges’ decision will be considered Final.

Theme:

1) For Portrait Sketching: Portrait of any famous scientist

2) For Croque's Sketching: Dinosaurs or Extinct Life

Science Poster Competition

1. Poster should be the original work of Participant.

2. Participants can make any type of digital poster related to science. (Structures, Pathways, or latest technologies like CRISPR).

3. Poster Size: 42 - 59.4cm

4. File size limit: 4MB.

5. File must be submitted in PDF format.

6. Judgement Criteria:

            ➤Creativity in Approach

                ➤Content

                 ➤Effective Communication

7. Logo of Multiomics must be visible on the top left corner of the poster.

8. No work will be acceptable after the given deadline.

My Robot Competition

1. Individual as well as group entry is allowed (One registration will be considered).

2. It can be a robot or any self-designed machine.

3. No size limit or other specification. You are free to present your ideas.

4. It can be autonomous or remote control.

5. Participant must submit 1-minute video of their final model with explanation.

6. No copied work allowed.

7. Judge’s decision will be considered final.

8. No work will be acceptable after the deadline.

9. You can either register yourself or with a team.

My Science Experiment Competition

1. The person willing to participate in this category must have registered himself through online registration form.

2. The competitors must come with a unique and novel experimental idea.

3. The experiment topic should be related to science only. 

4. Participants must make a video of less than 1.5 minutes while performing their experiment.

5. Participants can verbally guide the audience about their experiment during the video. They can also make separate charts for further clarification.

6. The decision of the judges will be unchanged.

7. No work will be accepted after given deadlines.

9. You can either register yourself or with a team.

Photography Competition

Theme: WILDLIFE AND NATURE 

1. Entries will not be submitted unless registered through official registration link.

2. To ensure eligibility for the contest, all entries must have a high resolution raw/jpg file.

3. All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter i.e. Wildlife and Nature 

4. Photographs that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of 

dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, contrasts) will be disqualified.

5. Each contestant can send maximum of three photographs. 

6. Judge`s decision will be considered final.

7. Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses

 

Science Fantasy Story Writing Competition

1. Word Limit will be 1200-1300 words.

2. Topic will be revealed 15 minutes before competition.

3. Topic will mainly revolve around science fiction.

4. 2 hours will be given to each participant. However, and extra 30 minutes will be provided for uploading process. 

5. Submit your file in Word docs.

6. Font size and style should be 12 and Times New Romans, respectively. 

7. Your entry must be original, unpublished. Plagiarism will be checked.

8. No work will be acceptable after the deadline.

9. For both and English and Urdu Writing typed as well as handwritten is acceptable.

Quiz Competitions

You need to participate as a team of two. Registration fee is 200 per team.

1. Quiz will be divided into 3 Rounds.

➤Simple Questioning Round. (5 Questions will be asked from each team)

➤Picture display.

➤Spelling Bee

OR
➤One letter Answer.

2. Participants will have choice between “spelling bee” and “one letter answer” round.
3. Quiz will be live through Zoom app.
4. Quiz will be conducted between teams. Each team will contain two participants.
5. Participants must register in pairs.
6. Total 15 questions will be asked.
7. 45 secs will be given for each question.
8. Participants must have strong internet connection.
9. If anyone lost connection, he would have 20 min to restore it and if unable he would be disqualified.
