Financial Markets Quiz Competition By Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
National Wide Financial Markets Quiz Competition 

SEBI is conducting a Nation-wide Financial Markets Quiz Competition. With these events SEBI aims to work towards financial inclusion and financial education by developing the knowledge and skill of the citizens of the country.

About the Contest

Round 1 - Online | Round II & III - Regional and National Round, to be held in Mumbai

What's in it for participants?

Eligibility:

The quiz is open for all the candidates who have completed their education at least upto (10+2)/ Higher secondary level and are currently enrolled in any college/University/Institution which are operating from India and studying any course. Only recognized College, University and Institutions shall be eligible to participate. College students shall be registered by their respective Colleges/Institutions.

How to register?

Registration for the Quiz will be through Colleges only. No individual registrations would be entertained. Colleges are required to register themselves first and then register its students through the link https://quiz.nism.ac.in/ . The registration process is as follows-

STEP 1: College register itself by providing the basic details of the college.

STEP 2: After successfully registering, login credentials for the colleges will be generated and will be sent to the respective colleges through email, SMS and WhatsApp.

STEP 3: College logs in using the user name and password received and enters the participating student's details.

STEP 4: Once the students are registered, they will receive the login credentials.

STEP 5: Students can use these credentials to participate in the quiz.

Instructions

The Quiz is being organized by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

College students need to select login type as "Student for Quiz" while login in with their credentials. Whereas the RP's should choose the login type as "Resource Person".

You will be required to provide your name, email address, telephone number, identity proof and passport size photo. By submitting your contact details, you will give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the Quiz.

Candidates can attempt the quiz with in 10 days after registration.

It is a timed quiz.

The quiz will be available for all contestants for the period of 45 minutes, in which they have to answer 40 multiple choice-based questions.

These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.

The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks the Start Quiz button.

Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.

One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.

By registering for the event, participants are giving consent to be contacted through WhatsApp.

Organizer's reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant which is detrimental to the Quiz or the Organizers or partners of the Quiz.

Organizers' decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.

By entering the Quiz, the Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above.

In case of any dispute, NISM has the right to conduct an online proctored pre-quiz round to select candidates.

Tie Breaker Rules

If more than one student scores the same marks. Following tie-breaker rules are will decide the ranking among participants with same-score:

1st Level of Tie-breaking: Students score in High difficulty section will be given the first preference for ranking. Those who scored more marks in this High difficulty section will get a better rank among the students with same score.

2nd Level of Tie-breaking: After applying the first criteria, score in the moderate difficulty section will be given priority for ranking. Those who scored more marks in moderate difficulty section will get a better rank among same-scorers.

3rd Level of Tie-breaking: After the above 2 criteria, scores in the low difficulty section will be given priority for ranking. Those who scored more marks in low difficulty section will get a better rank among same-scorers.

4th Level of Tie-breaking: After applying all the above four rules, if there is still a tie, candidate who consumed less time while attempting the quiz will get a better rank among same-scorers.

5th Level of Tie-breaking: After applying all the above three rules, if there is still a tie, younger candidate will get a better rank than the older students (i.e., Date of Birth will be the 4th level of tie-breaker).
