52nd International Film Festival of India
Hello everyone most welcome on my blog . Today in this post I will tell you about a new and most interesting event. So let's Start International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is one of Asia's oldest and India's biggest International Film Festival . This Year IFFI - International Film Festival of India is organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa and the Indian Film Industry. The Film Festival will be held in Goa from 20th - 28th November 2021 . IFFI is recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). Every year, the festival celebrates some of the finest cinematic works and showcases a bouquet of the best films from India and around the world.
The call for entries for participation in the competitive section of the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India will remain open till Aug 31, 2021.
On the occasion of the birth centenary of the maestro of Indian cinema Shri Satyajit Ray, this time the Directorate of Films Festivals, Ministry of I&B, will pay a tribute through a Special Retrospective at the IFFI. Also, in recognition of the auteur’s legacy, the “Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema” has been instituted from this year to be given at the IFFI every year starting from this year.
Last Year 51st International Film festival of India is celebrated on 2020 . The 51 edition of the International Film Festival is going to be a milestone achievement in the film and entertainment industry in India. IFFI has consistently proven itself to be a film festival par excellence, one which provides the best cinematic experience and access to one of a kind events for the creative mind. This year, in a unique hybrid event, audiences will be offered a variety of gripping films, virtual masterclasses & in-conversation sessions with renowned personalities from the film fraternity.
The media and entertainment sector has a significant role in projecting India’s soft power abroad. Cinema has the ability to bring together not just people, but also nations. The latest edition of IFFI will showcase the best of cinema from Bangladesh to commemorate the 50 Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between India and Bangladesh. The festival also hosts numerous film sections such as World Panorama, Retrospectives, Indian Panorama, and others. Each of these will screen curated film content from around the world. As we celebrate the birth centenary of ace filmmaker, Satyajit Ray, IFFI will also showcase some of the best films from the legend’s repertoire.

NOTE: Classroom and advertising films are not eligible for participation in any section.
NOTE: Final screening material must comply with technical standards specified by SMPTE for screening at International Film Festivals. Directorate of Film Festivals reserves the right to refuse screening if found otherwise.
NOTE: The Participants must ensure that they have the right to participate in the International Film Festival of India with regard to parties connected with the production/ distribution of the participating film and/ or other right holders/ licenses.
NOTE: Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these Regulations.
NOTE: The Festival Director, DFF will decide all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations but in conformity with the provisions of the International Regulations for film festivals and his decisions shall be final and binding on all parties.
Regulations Of 52nd International Film Festival Of India 2021, GOA(In English)
NOTE: Indian films can only be submitted in the Indian Panorama section of IFFI. Feature films(upto 3 films selected in the Indian Panorama section) would be considered for the international competition section of IFFI.
